Organic Man
Context
Organic Man is a health and fitness app that offers personalized nutrition, workouts, and wellness tips. It includes progress tracking, healthy recipes, and motivational tools to support lasting lifestyle changes.
What's been done
We expanded our fitness app market to men. After revamping the visual style, we integrated a workout player for gym equipment, allowing users to train and track progress beyond home workouts.
Quantitative research
User surveys were important as they helped to determine my target audience and gain a basic
understanding of users:
We now know that our target audience is mostly men aged 27-40.
Users reported challenges in the lack of progress tracking function.
These insights will inform our design to create a more intuitive logging feature.
A comprehensive SWOT analysis of OrganicMan project revealed strong visual design and intuitive navigation that we can leverage to enhance user experience, while also identifying limited accessibility features that need to be addressed to ensure inclusivity
for all users.
Wireframing
We made 10+ wireframe prototypes, iterating and testing them internally. Based on feedback, we selected 3 promising designs.
Budget constraints limited external testing, so we focused on internal interviews and usability testing.
